Who is eligible to apply?

The ILN peer mentoring program is open to everyone who is passionate about the library and information industry. If you’re interested in libraries, we’re interested in you.

We welcome applications from librarians and information management professionals but also people working in other library roles such as library technicians or assistants. Library and information studies students  keen to widen their perspective on the profession are also encouraged to apply.

There are a few other things you will need to be eligible to apply:

  • Reliable internet access
  • Fluent English skills
  • Approximately an hour each week  to participate
  • A desire to build professional connections and learn from peers and colleagues.

That’s it! If this sounds like you, then why not get involved. You can find out how the program works and apply online.
