Postcard from Canberra: Rachelle Conry shares her #LibrarianCommute

Rachelle is the ILN’s treasurer and lives in Australia’s capital, Canberra. While she’s not a librarian, Rachelle is definitely an honorary member of the profession so we are very happy to include her trip to work here:

I live in Canberra’s south and commute each day into the City Centre.

One of the best things about living in Canberra are the changing seasons. The Brindabella mountain range is the backdrop to my whole commute and in the winter you can see snow on the peaks and in summer there is the beautiful blue hue from the Eucalyptus trees in the heat. But my favourite part of all is in spring when everything comes alive again. These beautiful trees are just around the corner from home and are the first ones to come out in our suburb every year. Makes for a great start to any day.
