I spend about an hour and a half each day commuting to work at my Library. I used to read but found this difficult on full buses and obviously out of the question if I drive to work. Then a year or two ago I discovered podcasts.

I love listening to podcasts on my way to work. It’s a great way to wake up my brain and to hear an interesting story or learn something new.

I’ve found lots of favourites too. Some of my must-listens are:

Science & ‘Interesting Facts’ Podcasts

Business and Economics Podcasts

Interesting stories about the world

I’m always looking for new podcasts to listen to, so share your favourite podcasts in the comments so I can add them to my list!

  1. […] read or play games on my phone and sometimes listen to podcasts like Kate, but mostly I listen to audio books. I can’t read a book on the bus as I get motion sickness […]

  2. I’ m really enjoying Mamamia’s “Just between us” because it’s not from the USA for a change but Australia, and it’s 2 very straight talking women over 40! https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/just-between-us/id978545927?mt=2

  3. My favorite podcast is the one I make with five great people: Lost in the Stacks, the one-and-only a Research-Library Rock’n’Roll radio show. You can find us on iTunes or at http://lostinthestacks.libsyn.com/
