Are you coming to the American Library Association’s Annual Conference in San Francisco? We’re really excited to announce that there will be two, count them, two ILN-related events at the conference!

ILN Director Alyson Dalby will be speaking about how the ILN became the world’s largest librarian mentoring program. This presentation will be part of the session Learning from one another: Mentoring across and within borders – IRRT paper session running from 1pm-2:30pm on Saturday. If you’re passionate about cross-border learning, this session can’t be missed. It would be great to have some ILN participants in the audience!

On Sunday evening Alyson will be joined by ILN United States Ambassador Jacqueline Solis to host an ILN meetup for all members of the ILN community in San Francisco. Alyson and Jacqueline will be exploring the fine wines of California at the OneUP Lounge, nestled inside the Grand Hyatt at 345 Stockton Street (walking distance from the Moscone Conference Centre). We’ll be there from 6pm-7:30pm, and we’d love you to join us. If you have ILN-curious colleagues, please encourage them to come along to meet current and past ILN participants, as well as find out more about the program. We’ll be contactable on the night via Twitter at @interlibnet

We hope to see you in San Francisco!

P.S. This will be Alyson’s first time in San Francisco, so if any of our ILN community have travel tips, she’d be very happy to hear them! Please share in the comments section below.
