Did you make any New Year’s resolutions for 2015?

Some of the most popular resolutions are to get fit, manage stress, and recycle. Now while the International Librarians Network can’t really help you with those, we might be able to help you with a few others.

  • Volunteer to help others- The ILN would not exist without the hard work of volunteers. If this is one of your goals for 2015 you could apply for round 4, apply to be a country coordinator or just promote the ILN in your professional circles
  • Further career- Employers are always looking for applicants who take control of their own professional development so by participating in the ILN you may just get one more thing to add to your CV
  • Save money- Participation in the ILN does not cost you any more than your time and an internet connection
  • Travel- OK, we can’t fly you to the other side of the globe to meet other ILN participants, but by participating in the ILN you will get the chance to learn about countries you may have never even heard of before and that is sort of like travelling, right?

Applications for the next round of partnerships are now open and close at midnight on Sunday 15thFebruary 2015. Numbers are limited, so apply early to ensure you don’t miss out! The ILN is open to anyone working in the library and information industry around the world.

Make 2015 the year you actually complete one of those resolutions
