Library spaces we love: The Edge

Todays’  post comes from Bekti (Uti) Mulatiningsih the ILN Indonesia coordinator:

My favourite library is The Edge, located in Brisbane, Australia. The Edge is an initiative of State Library of Queensland. Actually, The Edge is not a ‘library’ but it is a youth centre aims to empowering the community to explore creative experimentation. There are many cool facilities available at the Edge such as recording studio, computer lab, window bay (with the view of Brisbane city), and an auditorium. The Edge also offers free practical workshops/short courses which cover various topics ranging from Basic Photography to Joomla. Oh, did I mention that they have their own coffee shop?!

Uti visited The Edge whilst visiting Brisbane and has shared some of her photos of the space with us:

  1. Shout-out to my previous ILN partner! This looks like a great place, and definitely how I would love our libraries of the future to be!
